The “DO” in our name stands for De Oorsprong—“The Origin”—and you can taste it.

In every dish, every drop, and every detail, our love for local products and honest flavors shines through.

We cook as much as possible with ingredients from nearby. That’s why we’re proud of our collaboration with Het Groene Boord, a local food forest where we harvest ourselves. This

connection with nature forms the foundation of our menu: sustainable, flavorful, and accessible.

Hospitality That Feels Like Home

Brandon Emmanuel began his culinary journey studying hotel management in Antwerp, where he discovered his passion for hospitality and gastronomy.

After gaining valuable experience at Michelin-starred restaurant ONE and Bistro TWO, his love for service, experience, and leading a strong team continued to grow.

Together with chef Armando Wijnands, he now leads Restaurant DO on the Roerkade in Roermond: a place where hospitality, quality, and a sense of home come together in a refined dining experience.

Armando Wijnands cooks from the source—with pure, local ingredients produced with care and passion.

Think of wild mushrooms from the forest, herbs from their own garden, and meat or fish from artisans who truly understand their craft.

His love for cooking began in his grandmother’s vegetable garden, where food was all about warmth, togetherness, and honest flavors.

In his restaurant, he aims to recreate that same feeling—with hospitality, pure ingredients, and dishes that bring cherished memories to life.
